QUESTION:
Do You Have Any Wisdom For Voters?

Yes, I do!
You have inherited a form of government that is unique and precious. To have the right to determine your future, instead of being enslaved or dominated by one or a few is a gift that few in the world have ever known.
Your government structure is decaying, however. A primary cause is the privilege of self-selection of your leaders through the voting process.
In the past few letters I shared the essentials for good leadership that you must have in order to flourish as a nation. If there is an overearching essential it is that they love you enough to cause you to do what is right instead of what is desired. In this sense they are called to act as healthy parents who work diligently and faithfully to give you what you need instead of what you want. Unfortunately, the majority of voters in your democratic structure act and vote more like a child than an adult. A child, left to their own choices, tends to pursue what they want instead of what they need.
If they could they would bypass the vegetables and go for the desserts. They would spend their time on frivolities and neglect the hard things in life. They would prefer indulgent parents instead of disciplinarians.
Unless the voting majority has left behind the childish approach to life they will, when they choose leaders, choose those who offer to indulge their childish cravings. This will be disastrous!
In my book, the Bible, I wrote to you and all humanity, to express how important it is that parents love their children enough to discipline them. In the book of Hebrews in the New Testament of my book, the Bible, I wrote, “In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10 Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:4–11).
Explore this text with me for a moment. Sin is doing what I said is wrong. If you don’t fight the temptation and give into it’s allure, you will die. You must develop discipline to overcome the natural desire to enjoy pleasure and personal desires instead of self-sacrificing for the good of self and others.
In order to overcome this natural tendency, you need loving parents who will love you enough to build discipline in your life. Though this process will be painful at times it will produce “a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” In other words, your life is blessed because you learned to do what is right instead of what is easy, pleasurable and unhealthy in the long run. Notice that good parents/leaders will love you enough to make you do the hard things in life.
Here is the rub.
If you don’t understand this concept and desire it, you will choose leaders who will feed your sinful desires instead of drive them out.
The combination of being voters who choose leaders that will give them what they want instead of what they need and leaders who will gladly give you what you want to retain power and control in order to mislead you is deadly.
Unfortunately, this is the condition you find yourselves in at this time in history.
Your only hope is to open your eyes and hearts to the truth. I am your creator God and I only speak the truth. I also love you so much, I will not pander to your pleasures in order to manipulate and control you. I will love you enough to call you to live in such a way that you do what is right instead of what is pleasurable but wrong. Anyone who does otherwise is not a lover but a hater.
Would you take this to heart and vote accordingly?
If you do you can stop the decay of democracy. If not, get ready for tyranny.
