PRO-Trump Flotilla ON The Big Lake

On Saturday, August 22 a flotilla of hundreds of boats took to Lake Winnipesaukee to show their support for President Donald Trump with a peaceful victory parade.
It was a beautiful summer morning as boats of all sizes, displaying American flags as well as Trump 2020 flags and banners met at Weirs Beach and made their way towards Meredith Bay.
The organizer of the event was Mike Bordes of Laconia, who is himself running for a seat as a New Hampshire State Representative.
“We estimated that there were about 418 boats that were in the parade,” said Bordes.
Locally organized Boat Parades showing support for the President have been happening all around the country and it only made sense that someone would organize one on New Hampshire’s biggest lake.
The event was truly a grassroots effort by Bordes who got the word out about the boat parade through word of mouth and social media. The NH Trump Victory team, part of a nationwide Trump Victory campaign, came on board and had representatives join in the parade as well as bringing along some Trump gear.
“It really was a great event,” said Bordes. “With that many boats out there the waters got a little rough and not all the boats made the whole journey, but those who did had a great time. I did not encounter one negative person during the entire parade. There were even people on land, who didn’t have boats, that showed up and brought along Trump signs.”
The success of the Boat Parade has Bordes considering another event in support of a Trump re-election, but he has yet to work out the details.
“The parade was really a great show of support,” said Bordes. “It was a peaceful celebration of our president and our great country.”
